Data processing agreement (DPA)

Forms an integral part of the Terms of Service.
1. Parties and roles
This agreement governs the processing of the garage's end-customer data (the "history": names, contact details, number plates, vehicles, bookings, inspections). The garage using tyresweb is the data controller. AICO Tech L.L.C-FZ, provider of tyresweb (Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, UAE), is the data processor and processes the data solely to provide the service, on the garage's instructions.
2. Subject and duration
tyresweb processes the data to build and show the garage its customer and vehicle history, and to manage bookings, photo inspections and review requests. Processing lasts for the duration of the contract. Inspection photos (which may contain number plates) are stored in a private archive and shown only via expiring signed links.
3. Obligations of tyresweb (processor)
- process the data only according to the garage's instructions and for the purposes of the service;
- ensure confidentiality and appropriate security measures (server-side access, private photo archive, encryption in transit);
- assist the garage with data-subject requests (access, rectification, erasure) and in the event of a data breach;
- delete or return the data at the end of the relationship, unless legal obligations require otherwise;
- not use the garage's customer data for its own purposes.
4. Sub-processors
tyresweb uses suppliers that process data on its behalf, located or with data in the EU where possible:
- Supabase (database and file storage, EU region);
- Stripe (subscription payments; we do not store card details);
- Resend (transactional email);
- AI and map providers (Anthropic, Google) for the site's public content, not for the customer history.
5. Garage's responsibilities
The garage, as data controller, is responsible for the legal basis of the processing and for informing its own customers. tyresweb collects the customer's consent at the time of booking and, separately, for marketing communications.
